Description

Melinda's Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Pepper Hot Sauce is their hottest sauce, made with the 2 million Scoville Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper! They coupled it with their vegetable-base to balance the heat and flavor, however, that is a tall order with the savage heat of this unruly pepper.

Ingredients: White Vinegar, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Pepper Mash (Water, Scorpion Pepper Pulp), Habanero Pepper Pulp, Carrot, Ghost Pepper Pulp, Salt, White Onion, Lime Juice, Garlic, Citric Acid and Xanthan Gum.

not as flavorful as the red savina, but hotter.  Not quite as hot as the Daves scorpion, but better taste.

5 of 5 Execellent flavor with heat that varies wildly May 1, 2014
Reviewer: Brandon Mchenry from Leander, TX United States
This sauce is an excellent sauce, fantastic flavor, scorching but not unbearable heat (mostly).

The only problem is that the pepper mash/puree used is very rough and thus not evenly spread. Sometimes you get an extra large piece of scorpion in a dose and it will knock your socks off! Otherwise this is a favorite scorpion sauce.

I've used it on eggs, grilled pork, and as a spike to milder salsas.

When we first tried this we mixed a tablespoon into a jar of Mild Tostitos salsa (I know, it's horrible salsa) but this sauce made it actually GOOD and added some serious heat!

Admittedly we were a little apprehensive about the scorpions, but their sting in this sauce is perfect.
